STEP 1
From your Workday home screen, click the menu icon, then select "Teaching" (or type "Teaching" in to the Workday search bar)

Click on Assign Interim Grades.
STEP 3
Click in the Student Course Section field, then click on My Assigned Course Sections.
STEP 4
Select the current semester, and then select the appropriate course section.
STEP 5
Click the OK button.
STEP 6
Next to each student on the roster, click the plus (+) icon to add a row.
STEP 7
Once the row has been added for a student, the Interim Grade field will be editable. Click in the field and select the appropriate grade for each student.
STEP 8
Note that the Interim Grade Date will auto-populate with todays date.
STEP 9
Repeat with any additional course sections you are teaching
IMPORTANT NOTES:
If you submit progress grades prior to the deadline and realize you need to make a correction, you can do so until 10:00 AM on the due date.
For subsequent progress reporting on the same course section, do not remove or replace a progress grade that was submitted for a prior deadline. Instead, click the plus icon to add a new effective dated grade. For example, for Fall 2024 a student might have an interim grade effective dated September 17, another one dated October 15, and another dated November 12.
