Where can I see a list of my advisees?
You can use the Advisee Listing by Advisor report. You may also search for Advisee Count by Advisor report. Instructions on how to view your advisees can be found in the Workdays Knowledge Library.
Where can I view my advisee’s academic progress and academic standing?
Where can I view my advisee’s academic details, including courses taken?
You can view this information on a student’s profile by navigating to the Academic tab. Instructions to View Academic Details.
How can I see if my student has holds that prevent them from registering?
Where can I see notes on my advisee’s record?
You can view student notes on their Academic History tab .
What happens if my advisee misses their registration appointment time?
If a student misses a registration appointment with you, you may mark them as a “no-show” in Workday.
Where can I see my advisee’s academic plan?
You can view this information on a student’s profile by navigating to the Academic tab.
When my advisee declares a major, do they automatically get assigned a default Academic Plan?
No, you will need to create a new or update their existing Academic Plan for your advisee. The Academic Plan is assigned during student onboarding. Any changes to the Program(s) of Study after that will require updating the Academic Plan.
