STEP 27
Add Course:
Use this override to add a course to a requirement, regardless of if the requirement was already a list or not. Can be done preemptively (without registration). Will need to type and select the appropriate course in the “Courses to Add” field. Then enter a comment describing why the override is being issued and sign with your initials.
Please note: This override will act differently based on the type of eligibility rule. If the eligibility rule says "Student has completed all of the following course(s):" then this override will essentially make the requirement an "and" rule, saying complete the course that is already in the academic requirement "and" the course I'm adding. If the eligibility rule says "Student has completed any of the following course(s)" then it essentially works as a substitution (this course "or" that course).
STEP 28
Adjust Course Count:
If you have a course count rule (EX. 3 courses from this list) use this override to adjust the number of courses required. Can be done preemptively. You will need to enter the new number of courses required. Then enter a comment describing why the override is being issued and sign with your initials.
STEP 29
Adjust Hours
If you have a unit rule (ex. 12 credits from this list) use this override to adjust the number of hours required. Can be done Preemptively. You will need to enter the new number of hours required. Then enter a comment describing why the override is being issued and sign with your initials. Then enter a comment describing why the override is being issued and sign with your initials.
STEP 30
Assign Course to Requirement
Allows you to assign an in-progress or completed registration to an academic requirement. This cannot be done Preemptively. You can use this task for either of the following reasons:
To override a grade. For ex. if the requirrement was C- or better, you could apply a course with a D. You would need to enter a course in the 'Course Registrations to apply' field and then click 'Ignore Grade'. This will not apply an F or W to the Academic Progress Report (APR)
Put an alternative course in the list. You would need to enter course in the 'Course Registrations to Apply' Field.
Please not this is the preferred override type if you are applying either an ELEC, X79, or X99 course to a requirement as it will allow you to select a specific course section. (For ex. if a student transferred in 5 ELEC 200 courses, this will allow you to choose a specific one. You will need to click the related actions (Twinkie) icon next to the course to view the course section title).
Then enter a comment describing shy the override is needed, followed by your initials.

STEP 32
