Faculty and staff who teach, and those with instruction support roles, will use Workday for tasks such as:

If you use other systems such as Blackboard to deliver instructional content, you will continue to do so. Workday is not replacing these systems.

List of students registered in an Instructor’s course section.
PEP Course Roster
List of students registered in an Instructor’s PEP course sections.
Find Students
Returns one row for each Student. Includes all Active Matriculated Students.
Change Grade for Student
Task that allows Instructors to change a student’s previously assigned grade for a course.
Final Grades
Displays final grades assigned to students in an Instructor’s courses by academic period.
View My Teaching Schedule
Displays course section, status, number of students, start and end dates, meeting times, and locations for instructor’s courses by academic period.
Assign Student Grades for Student Course Section
Task that allows Instructor to assign a final grade for students in their course sections.
Find Student Cohorts
Enables Instructors to find student cohorts by academic unit, academic level, cohort type, or cohort collection.

If a student has submitted a prerequisite override request, you will receive a task in your Workday inbox.
Interim grades will need to be submitted each semester by the specified deadlines found in the academic calendar.
View a schedule of the courses you are teaching for a specified semester
Faculty can add advising notes to a students record for later reference.
View a students test scores including ACT, AP, and Credit by Exam.
Advisors can request to override a requirement in a students Academic Progress Report (APR).
This process should be used when you notice issues within a students academic progress report. Many issues can be solved by simply "refreshing" the report. Common issues this can resolve: completed courses showing as in-progress, transfer courses and test scores not applying as expected, general education courses not applying as expected.
Submitting final grades for your assigned course sections.
This process applies to courses taken within the last three semesters.
This process applies to grade changes for courses that took place more than three semesters ago. These requests will go to the Provost for approval prior to being applied to the student's record.
Instructors must verify course participation for each of their courses. Even if all students are attending, you must open each section and click OK to complete the verification.
Using the Course Section Roster report within the Teaching Dashboard, faculty can view students registered and waitlisted for their assigned courses for a given semester.
Each degree seeking student is assigned an Academic Progress Report (APR) which can be used to track a students progress towards degree completion.
Advisors can see in-progress and completed coursework for their advisees through the student profile.
