Here is a list of resources to support our work with Workday
RT is the system that we use to file, track, and complete work orders. RT can be accessed through an internet browser at the URL www.helpdesk.adams.edu.
Overview
During the implementation phase of a project, Workday creates and maintains a site for each customer on a secure SFTP server. The site is used to store sensitive customer data that needs to be shared among Workday implementation consultants and the customer. The use of the SFTP server ensures data security while in transit. The SFTP server utilizes public/private key technology that allows for stronger and more reliable authentication than with IDs and passwords alone.
Purpose
This document outlines the process for generating a private/public key pair and explains how to configure an SFTP client to upload documents to Workday’s SFTP server. Instructions for installing tools, such as WinSCP, are outside the scope of this document, so do not install them yourself.
Audience
The intended audience for this document is a Workday customer who is currently implementing the Workday Solution.
