Solution
FA1 70cc .095 mol/dm3 Copper (II) Sulfate -> 237.12g CuSO4 in 1 dm3 solution
FA2 0.7-0.8g Magnesium powder -> in stoppered container (Sample tube) same powder should be used for each candidate
FA3 3.0-3.2 g Zinc powder -> in stoppered container (Sample tube) same powder should be used for each candidate
FA4 10cc 0.07 mol dm3 Ammonium vanadate(V) in 3.7 mol dm3 sulfuric acid -> *
(Add 800cc 1.0 mol H2SO4 to 8.2 g NH4VO3).
Carfully add 160CC concentrated H2SO4 and stir to dissolve solid.
Make up the solution up to 1 dm3 with distilled water
(Suppliers may provide NH4VO3 as ammonium vanadate(V) ammonium metavanadate or ammonium polytrioxovanadate)
*Make 3.7M H2SO4-> 101ml conc. --> 500ml with distilled H2O and add 4.1g NH4VO3, dissolve m ake to 500mls in volumatic flask
FA5 5cc of 1.0 mol dm3 sulfuric acid
Aqueous potassium iodide 2 cc 0.5 mol dm3 potassium iodide -> Dissolve 83.0g KI in 1 dm3 of solution
Aqueous Sodium Thiosulfate 5cc of 0.5 mol dm3 sodium thiosulfate ->Dissolve 124.10 g of Na2S2O3 5H2O in 1 dm3 of solution

Acidified 0.02 mol dm3 potassium manganate(VII) -> Dissolvew 3.16g KMnO4 in 1 dm3 of solution. Each dm3 of solution should contain 250 cc of 1.0 mol dm3 H2SO4
