peas seed record temp during germination

Measuring heat energy from germinating seed :

• 2 X thermos flasks

• 2 thermometers

• moist cotton wool

• 2 retort stands, boss-heads and clamps

• peas washed in disinfectant (boiled and germinated could take up to 5 days)

Set up thermometer in flask before to get inside temperature before commencing the experiment.

Then insert peas (By teacher)

A with dry peas seeds, B with Germinated peas seeds (producing Heat)
