Year 12 Magnetic Dampening Demo

Demo equipment required:

• Clamp stand/boss/clamp (basic pendulum set up)

• 100g weight on a spring 

• Iron rod (5B5)

• Neodymium magnets x 3 (Super magnets tray 5B6) - One to be attached to the weight and rod/Two to be attached to the bottom of the rod.

• Variable resistor box (6A2)

• 2100 Solenoid turn coil (6A6)
