Cloud Chamber

Cloud chamber 5A6 (30min set up)

1)      Deep box fill up with cold water and ice to half

2)      Plug cloud chamber + blue power pack (Lvl 8-10) as picture

3)      Soak the wall of the Cloud Chamber with Propan-2-ol using the cap

4)      Give it time to cool down for a while

5)      Get radio-active book(Cupboard2) and get the radio-active source Pb-210 at “eye” of needle Handle by cork (Protactium)

6)      Write in Radio-active book

7)      Set Rx source on the hole in the top of the chamber

8)      Wait about 20-30min for it to work.

9)     Top up with ice in water bucket just before lesson starts

after let dry inside cover into fume cabinet for the night and clean the cloud chamber inside with paper towel
