Hydrogen peroxide and catalase using different pH or temperatures

Hydrogen Peroxide & catalase using different temperatures:

• Set up as per pH beehive gas collection (see top of page).

• Water baths x 2 set at 40 degrees & 80 degrees/ice bucket (large glass bowl)/room temperature (no need for water bath, just leave out)

• Conical flasks with bungs filled with 10ml of 20V (6%) Hydrogen Peroxide prior to lesson and placed into different temperature baths/bowls.

• Potato chips/chunks in small beakers (equal number of chips to be put into each flask to make it a fair test).

• Spatula or tweezers for putting potato pieces into conical flasks.
