Year 10 to 6th Form Taster Day and Year 11 to 6th Form Transition Day:

• A Level practical investigation 10.5 - Investigating human reflexes - Year 10 to 6th Form Taster Day (One-meter rulers, blindfolds & calculators)

• Investigating factors (temperature) affecting the heart rate of daphnia  (see relevant website page for equipment) - 2024 onwards

(Temperatures - iced/room/30 degrees celsius) Year 11 to 6th Form Transition Day

• OR A Level practical 8.1 Using a simple respirometer (using mealworms instead of mung beans) - students to fill respirometer using blue dye.
