• 2 X cabbage leaves to be cut before the pract. (2024 Used Blueberries+ pestle and mortar)

• 250 cc Pyrex beaker (borosilicate glass-Samex)

• Bunsen burner, tripod, gauze, heat mat proof "GAS ON" (in class)

• Glass rod 

• 2 X 250 cc beaker to pour the boil one to the other one to filter

• 3 X Test tubes (in class) Set out the 3 test tubes in rack labelled Distilled water- Hydrochloric acid- sodium hydroxide. Half filled each test tube with the correct solution.

• Spare Test tube

• Measuring cylinder 25cc

• Pens to mark Test tube

• 1.0 M HCl (use poly-stop  bottle  in a blue tray for practical same for NaOH) (Don't display in Class room if test tubes are set up)

• 1.0 M NaOH (Don't display in Class room if test tubes are set up)

• 1 X Distilled water wash bottle

• Teat pipette (Plastic disposable )and pipette pump

• Heat proof Gloves

To Test : One Sample per blue tray 

• Lime water (Calcium Hydroxide)

• Vinegar (Ethanoic acid) (Citic acid)

• Washing soda (Sodium carbonate Na2CO3.10H2O) powder

• Bicarbonate of soda (Sodium hydrogen-carbonate) powder

• Common salt (Sodium Chloride) powder

• Sulfuric acid (Car batteries)

• Ammonia (Cleaning fluid)

• Litmus solution

• Phenolphthalein
