• Methy benzoate solution (25cc/per. From Chem store shelves) display in Fume cabinet  

• Concentrated sulfuric acid (5cc. From Chem store bottom shelve) display in Fume cabinet  

• Concentrated Nitric acid (2cc. From Chem store bottom shelve) display in Fume cabinet  

• 2 X Conical flask 100cc

• Large bungs for conical flask

• Crush ice in troughs (for 100cc conical flask ) Big Yellow tray full of crushed ice (have some pestle and mortar ready if ice to big)

• tough for water bath (ice cream tubes)

• Glass pipettes (Top get the conc. acid) 

• Glass pipettes for students (lot of)

• Thermometers

• measuring cylinders 10cc

• 250ml beaker

• 150 ml beaker

• 2 X Test tube and rack

• Nitrile gloves (Blue)

• (Salt from physics cupboard to speed up ice cooling down)

Practical B step 2 per set : Check that tape water is working HazaCard : 40A, 

(Ask if ice and tough are still required to finish crystallisation) 

• Buchner funnel filtration  tray (7B3)

• ethanol in blue tray with beaker

• Cold Ethanol from freezer

• glass pipette (with all organic pract. and working with hot ethanol)

• Balances

• Spatulas

• Sample tube/Specimen tubes (With all organic pract.) and pen to write on them
