• test tubes bung with delivery tube (U-type shape) to go from one test tube to another sat alongside it in a test tube rack. (Apparatus normally use in testing for carbon dioxide in lime water)

• the following solid in screw cap bottled labelled with spatula

  • P = potassium iodide

  • Q = sodium carbonate

  • R = iron(II) sulfate

  • S = lithium chloride

  • T = calcium bromide

  • U = aluminium sulfate

• Several bottle of each of the following A level except NaOH  A level NaOH cuold be used no need to make it specially

  • Hydrochloric acid 2.0 M

  • Nitric acid 2.0 M

  • Silver nitrate 0.05 M

  • Barium chloride 0.1 M

  • Sodium hydroxide 0.4 M

  • Lime water

• Damp splints
