• What does being a First-Generation College Graduate mean to you?

It means I have reached a milestone in my life. It also means that I did not disappoint my parents who went above and beyond to provide me with this opportunity. This is an accomplishment I am extremely proud of.

• What is your proudest moment from your time at UCSD?

Being able to graduate with a GPA I thought was impossible to achieve.

• Who are the family members, friends or loved ones who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?

Definitely my parents. I am extremely thankful to them for their years of hard work to give me this chance to pursue higher education. They supported and accompanied me throughout my ups and downs, always encouraged me to not give up, and had utmost belief in my capability to succeed. I could not have done this without them having my back.

• What do you plan or hope to do after graduating?

Continue my education.
