• What does being a First-Generation College Graduate mean to you?

Being an example to your siblings and being a light of faith at the end of the tunnel for your family

• What is your proudest moment from your time at UCSD?

Honestly just graduating at a school I never thought I would be good enough to attend I am happy I proved myself wrong.

Honestamente, al graduarme en una escuela a la que nunca pensé que sería lo suficientemente buena para asistir, estoy feliz de haber demostrado que estaba equivocada.

• What advice do you have for current or future first-generation students?

Keep trying and do not give up even when you think you can not anymore there is always a way.

Sigue intentándolo y no te rindas incluso cuando creas que ya no puedes más siempre hay una manera.

• Who are the family members, friends or loved ones who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?

Definitely my family without them I would not be where I am today.

Definitivamente mi familia sin ellos no estaría donde estoy hoy.

• Who are the staff, faculty or mentors who have been most influential throughout your college journey? Are there any words of gratitude you would like to share with them?

No one I had to figure it all myself and as a transfer student is it hard but you can do anything if you really want it.

Nadie. Tenía que resolverlo todo yo mismo y, como estudiante transferido, es difícil, pero puedes hacer cualquier cosa si realmente lo deseas.

• What do you plan or hope to do after graduating?

Law school and run for office one day!
