Leadership
Crystal Soderman is the Director of Driver Control. Crystal is also the Traffic Records Manager and is responsible for the Commercial Driver License and State-to-State (CDL/S2S) and Ignition Interlock Programs. She is currently a member of the Colorado Task Force for Drunk and Impaired Driving (CTFDID), a member of the Sobriety Court Steering Committee, and a Knowledge Partner of the Association of Transportation Safety Information Professionals (ATSIP). Crystal has 18 years of experience within the DMV which includes Title and Registration Administration and International Registration Plan Program (IRP).
Bob Emeott is the Driver Control, Administrative Services Team Operations Manager. He oversees all Units in Driver Control handling payment and record requests, as well as administrative functions such as mail, scanning, purchasing, human resourcing and budget. Bob comes to Driver Control with a strong background in finance, accounting, operations, sales, marketing, and strategic planning.
Scott Spinks is the Driver Control, Driver Services Operations Manager. The Driver Services Team (DST) hosts the DMV’s largest call center, Driver Services, the Record Support Unit and the Data Services Unit (DSU) who manage DMV Data Access Partners, data management and new technologies. He sits on the Statewide Traffic Records Advisory Committee (STRAC) and the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) National Driver Register Working Group (NDRWG) as a voting member. Scott has worked for the State of Colorado for a total of 14 years and has held positions with Colorado Division of Wildlife, Colorado Department of Agriculture and the Department of Revenue.
