Stephanie is an accomplished leader, mentor, coach, business partner, and overall Human Resources professional stemming from an extensive background in retail leadership.  Stephanie has her Bachelor's of Science degree from Southern New Hampshire University in Human Resources Management with a minor in Industrial Psychology. She also holds professional certifications from the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM-CP), as well as the State of Colorado Job Evaluation Certification, in addition to a variety of other professional certificates directly relating to the HR sector and support of human capital.

Lakisha has been working in Human Resources for the State of Colorado since 2011 and has a wide range of experience. Lakisha has earned her Master's degree in Organizational Leadership with a focus in Human Resources, her Bachelor's degree in Accounting and is a certified professional by the Society for Human Resources Management. At the Department of Revenue, you can find her putting these skills to the test on the Talent Acquisition Team. 

Lakisha lives in Colorado Springs with her husband, their 5 kids and a mini animal farm. When she is not working, you will find her crafting and finding new projects to complete around the house. While it is difficult to choose only one, the DOR core value that resonates most for Lakisha would be Respect. She believes that the roots of any relationship (both working and personal) are built on a mutual respect for each other.
