Our mission is to empower data teams, build data literacy, and support technical infrastructure to meet the Department of Revenue’s full potential.

Data Governance
Provides infrastructure and guidance for the department to effectively manage its data. Owns the department's data inventory and any relevant assets. Identifies data stewards, owners, and more as needed by the department to execute its mission.

Data Operations
Provides environments that enable development by data teams across the department. Facilitates the adoption of new technologies and best practice in conjunction with data governance principles. Cultivates a culture of learning across the organization adopting new technologies in a safe and responsible manner.

System Support
For systems with broad-reaching data needs, such as licensing and case management, this team provides critical support in the ongoing day-to-day operations of such systems. Translates technical work between the business and vendors to ensure compliance with data governance standards as well as enabling data operations to reach its full potential. Enforces Federal and State policy to ensure the data in systems is protected and secure.
