Q: How will the public be informed of department moves to new locations?
A: The Howard building move will be employee based communication, not public. The Driver Control team move to Westgate will be shared out to the general public, and available on our websites. The Denver Regional Service Center move will be shared out to the general public
Q: When should hybrid workers contact their supervisors to discuss getting badge access to Howard?
A: Employees that are moving in to Howard in May, should currently have access. Contact your supervisor if you don’t have access and need access in May. All other employees will have the chance to sign up for access in June.
Q: How will we access the building if we start early?
A: General building access starts at 7am until 6pm. If you need access prior to 7am, that should have been provided on your badge access form.
Q: How do you enter the Howard building when you park in the garage?
A: You enter the building from the first floor of the parking garage. There are elevators or stairs on the second floor that you can take down to the first floor.
Q: Do we need a tag in our car for the parking garage?
A: No, just access through your badge in order to enter the garage.
Q: On event days, what if an employee's work schedule is usually until 5pm?
A: Work specifically with your Division on your individual time frames.
Q: On event days, does the parking garage apply the same as the surface lots?
A: Yes, it also applies to the garage as well.
Q: On event days, does this apply to disability / HC parking?
A: Yes
Q: Will there be additional days parking has to clear out when the sports season starts?
A: Communication will be sent out when dates are known.
Q: What is the light rail stop across from Howard?
A: Federal, W Line
Q: Will employees based outside of Denver, with a different home office, need to do anything special to access the new office?
A: If you are not an employee that is dedicated to the Howard office, however you will go to Howard frequently, you will need to fill out the Badge Access Form. If you are an employee that will go in once or twice a year, the host of the meeting or your Supervisor can give you access. You will sign in at the front desk as a guest for the day, and be escorted into the building.
Q: When will DMV/VS employee’s access to Pierce be removed?
A: Communication was sent out on 4/23/2025 with clarifications. Vehicle Services access will be removed at the beginning of June, if they are non customer facing.
Q: What payment options does the Avenue C Market kiosk accept?
A: Credit cards are accepted. No cash.
Q: Will there be cubicles available for hoteling on the 4th floor at Howard?
A: There are hoteling spaces for each Division and additional spaces for EDO. There is no current reservation system for the Howard hoteling. Each Division is doing the reserving separately.
