Table menu

The Table menu allows the user to change the appearance of tables, and print, plot and export the table contents.

Filter

Opens the Filter Options popup. This popup allows the user to filter the entries that are shown in the table or a selection within the table. It uses an input expression, which can be a string or regular expression.

Export

Opens the Export data popup. This popup allows the user to export data in the table to be written to a text file.

Graph

Allows the user to select an X axis and Y axis from the columns of the table for plotting as an X-Y graph. For example:

• • X: Residue

  • Y: Num Peaks

On selection of the X and Y data a plot will be generated in a Columns Graph popup. Note that only columns containing numerical data can be plotted. Column graph plots can be manipulated further and saved as PostScript files from within the Columns Graph popup.

Print

Opens the Print canvas to file popup which allows you to select a file name and location to save the VISIBLE part of the table as a PostScript file. The default file extension is '.ps'.

Table info

This items in this menu provides information about the current table, for example:

• • Total rows

  • Selected rows

  • Current row and column

Font

Allows the user to specify which font to use in tables.

The user can choose from the following fonts:

• • Courier

  • Helvetica

  • Lucida

  • System

  • Times

with font sizes 8pt, 10pt, 12pt in the styles normal and italic.
