Find matching peaks

Analysis has a search function that can locate peaks (target peaks) in a specified spectrum that are close to a peak of interest (source peak). This can functionality can for example  be very useful when searching for sequential neighbors in protein NMR resonance assignment.

To search for close target peaks, select a source peak and use R: Locate Peaks: Find close peaks: F1: ..:  “spectra”, as is illustrated in the image below:

This raises the Peak: Selected Peaks popup (shown below) in which the closely matching peaks for the specified dimension are listed, and which may include the source peak in case the search is done within the same spectrum. 

The closely matching peaks can be checked and manipulated directly in the peak table, or used for displaying in spectrum windows. For example, the matching peaks can be selected and displayed in stripped windows using the [Strip Selected] button, and [Find peak] can be used to find and mark a selected peak in a spectrum window:
