Copy assignments between peaks

It is possible to copy assignments between peaks in peak lists that have the same dimensions in common. This is done on a per peak basis. To do so, open the Assignment: Copy Assignments popup, using M: Assignment: Copy Assignments, and go to {Between Peak Lists}.

Under ‘Options’, select “Source Peak List:” and “Target Peak List:”(as in the example figure shown below). Set “Follow Window:” to be the window to display the source peaks in and set the other options.

Clicking on a source peak will match the source peak against target peaks. To copy assignments from a source peak to a matching target peak:

• • Select the source peak. Analysis will now navigate and place a marker on the peak in the  “Follow Window:”.

  • Select the target peak. Analysis will now navigate and place a marker on the peak in the  “Follow Window:”.

  • Click [Assign Selected Target].

To assign all target peaks that are uniquely matched to source peaks, click [Assign All Singly Matched]. To assign all target peaks that are closest in distance to their respective source peaks, click [Assign All To Closest] (if there are any in the search radius).
