Windows: Print Window

This popup can be used to create output of spectrum windows in PostScript, Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) and Portable Document Format (PDF) files. Several style and geometry options are available.

Window

Selects the spectrum window that is to be printed.

File

The file where the result is stored.

Choose File

Opens the Browse files popup to select a file location from the file system.

Title

The title that appears on the output (optional).

Paper size

The paper size to which the output is sized:

Orientation

The orientation for the output:

Style

The style of the output:

Format

The format of the output:

Tick Location

Specifies the on which side of the x and y axes the ticks are displayed:

Tick Placement

Specifies on which axes ticks are displayed. Multiple selections are possible:

Top

Select to show ticks on the top x-axis.

Bottom

Select to show ticks on the bottom x-axis.

Left

Select to show ticks on the left y-axis.

Right

Select to show ticks on the right y-axis.

Include

Specifies which additional information should be included in the output.

Time & date

Select to include the time and date in the output.

File name

Select to include the filename in the output.

Scaling

Specifies the scaling of the output relative to the page.

Region

This section allows the user to specify a region to be printed. By default the complete window contents is printed.

Use override region when printing

Selecting this option allows the user to specify a specific region to be printed. It activates the input fields in the Region table. 

Region table

Lists the print region definition parameters.

Axis

The axis for which the parameters are set.

Region Number

The region number. In the case a window contains multiple strips, each strip can be printed with its own region settings. The region number indicates the region for which the settings apply. This option needs improvement, it will confuse.

Override Region Min (ppm)

Specifies the minimum value of the region to print.

Override Region Max (ppm)

Specifies the maximum value of the region to print.

Save Print File

Saves the print file to disk.
