Customizing project settings
Before proceeding with the actual analysis of the data, it is good to spend some time on customizing the user interface for the project. You can customize your own settings on a number of different levels, among which are:
Keyboard shortcuts - used to change the settings for accessing commands using the keyboard. Use the {Macros} tab via M: Macros: Organise Macros to access and edit the keyboard shortcuts. In this tutorial we use the default settings:
Window properties - used to set the windows background color. The window properties are found in the same popup as above but in the {Main Options} tab:
Individual windows properties, which are found in the Window: Windows popup:
Spectrum display options - used to define settings for colors and other contour properties of spectra. The spectrum display options are found in the {Display Options} tab, in the Experiment: Spectra popupÂ
Alternatively for the settings mentioned on this page, you can use the settings already defined for this tutorial by loading the project NapD_2. Set marks and rulers properties according to the flowchart below.
