Strip

The Strip menu allows the user to create, activate, move, delete and perform a number of other actions on strips. The menu options that are shown depend on the project and current view, and some of them are available directly from the strip menu of the Window popup.

This docs should be finished after it is clear what the difference between separators and strips is meant to be: Note that strips are not the same as vertical or horizontal separators at the moment, which is confusing. Some bug fixes are needed

Add New Strip

Adds a new strip to the current window. The new strip will be a duplicate of the strip that is currently under the mouse cursor. The new strip can be vertical or horizontal, depending on the setting of the horizontal/vertical mode button in the strip menu of the Window popup.

Delete Strip

Deletes the strip that is currently under the mouse cursor. Option only available in windows with multiple strip regions.

Make Active

Makes the strip that is currently under the mouse cursor the active one for the window. Option only available in windows with multiple strip regions.

Move Left

Moves a vertical strip one position to the left. Used for rearranging strips.

Move Right

Moves a vertical strip one position to the right. Used for rearranging strips.

Move Up

Move Down

Peak Location Strips

This command can be used to create strips in the current or in other windows on the positions of the selected peaks. The options for the window and dimensions depend on the project and the dimensions of the selected peaks. For example:

Change window

Move the strip that is currently under the mouse cursor to a new window position (strip order). Menu options are dependent on the project, and the strip can be displayed in 3 different ways:

 For example:

This option only available in windows with multiple strip regions.

Add vertical separator

Remove horizontal separator

Remove vertical separator
