Leading Line Film

The setting of my image is looking over a shelf, diagonally, the view is looking outside a window. The subject of my images is the frame of the window, looking outside. The image was made by propping the camera diagonally onto a shelf and using the window frame as leading lines to take the photo. I used the frame and the shelf to make my image. I chose to create this image because, like I said before, it utilized leading line and the glare through the window is a good aspect to my image. Some elements of design I used in my image are the line, texture, and space. This is evident when you see the blurry image, you can notice the texture I was going for was blurry.

Some compositions and techniques that are showcased in my image are high key lighting, soft focus, angle up, framing, and of course, Leading Line. You can see the softness in my image, you can see the framing through the window frame, you can see the light and not to much exposure for high key lighting. Their is much that this image brings to the table. It is up to the viewer wether they see it or not. My project evolved because I though I was going to do a completely different image and then I decided on this one, and I'm glad I did.

The story behind my image is trying to show the different compositions and techniques that a photo can capture, and in this case, leading lines. This story relates to my life because I always show what I can bring to the table and my positive aspects, just like this image has many positive aspects. Something that bothers me a bit about this image, is how long I exposed my image. I feel I could have exposed my image a bit longer in the future, but I am still proud of my work. People may think I wanted to make my image clearer, but I like it blurry.
