Candy Still Life (Spheres)

The project that we did was to make a candy still life. The goal was to draw realistic candy. The subject of my creation is warheads and a lollipop. The setting of my creation is a table. I chose to make this specifically because I liked that there were multiple warheads. The steps I went through in creating this project are shading and outlining.. The materials used when I made this project were watercolor, colored pencil, and charcoal. I chose to compose my art this way because I wanted to have color and texture in my drawing.

Some techniques I use while making my art are outlining. You can see it around many of my warheads. At first my project was going to be a blank table, but it evolved and ended up with a colored background.

The meaning behind my artwork is to make a still life. This project relates to me because I love candy. If I were to do this project again I would use skillets or something circular instead of something cubic like the warheads
