Artistic Influence

With help, the student demonstrates partial success at 2.0 and 3.0.

I can: 

• Understand that people have different ideas about why art is important or what it means, and I can share my thoughts about these ideas.

• Knowing there are different viewpoints, but not being able to identify or verbalize them.

I can: 

• Communicate thoughts about what the intentions that the artist had when they created their artwork

• Provide evidence as to why an artist created a work of art based on influences at the time it was created (i.e. personal, social, political, religious, time period, etc.)

• Discuss different philosophical views about art and explain them in my own words.
