Standard: C.C.2.1.K.A.2 - Apply one to one correspondence to count the number of objects.

I can demonstrate one-to-one correspondence when counting.

I can:

Count orally by ones beginning from a given number (instead of always beginning at 1).

Write numbers from 0 to 10.

Understand that each successive number name refers to a quantity that is one larger.

Count to tell the number of objects.

Say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one object.

Understand that the last number said tells the number of objects counted.


Vocabulary: Digit, Total, Quantity, Greater than, Less than, and Equal.

I can: 

Know number names and write and recite and count 0 to 100.

Apply one-to-one correspondence to count the number of objects 0 to 20.

Compare amounts to 10.
