Pruefer

Pruefer also made a hard rubber "Silver Throat" clarinet. The 1959 ad below says that it was made by “master American craftsmen.”See the Artist Model subpage, and the Deepwood.

The hard rubber and brass lined Festival is much better than the Silver Throat. If the Festival is any indication, the wooden Pruefer might be excellent.
