Intonation summary: This will work well for a beginning to intermediate student horn. The sharpness in the lower throat tones will be hard to compensate for. But other than that, the intonation is quite good. It would be possible to add glue in tone holes to lower the E and F throat tones, as the corresponding notes in the high register are also way sharp.
Key work quality: The key work is nice. The metal seems somewhat soft, but that is offset by rather sturdy construction.
This clarinet is most appropriate for: Beginning students.
