Original Model: Look for throat keys mounted on three posts, and inline trill keys mounted on three sets of posts. Wooden body and barrel; composite bell.
Transitional Model: Look for throat keys mounted on four posts, and inline trill keys mounted on three sets of posts. Wooden body and barrel; wooden or composite bell.
Model 11: An-all plastic Normandy clarinet with Buffet-style trill keys. Marked MADE IN FRANCE or MADE by NOBLET at the barrel end of the upper joint.
Model 5P, 1st version: Look for plateau keywork, Buffet-style trill keys mounted on three sets of posts, a wooden body and barrel, and composite bell.
Model 5P, 2nd version: Look for plateau keywork, Buffet-style trill keys mounted on three sets of posts, and all-wooden construction.
Model 6: Look for Buffet-style trill keys mounted on three sets of posts, a wooden body, composite barrel, and composite bell.
Model 7, 1st version: Look for inline trill keys mounted on four sets of posts, a wooden body, wooden barrel, and composite bell.
Model 7, 2nd version: Look for inline trill keys mounted on four sets of posts, a wooden body, composite bell, and composite barrel.
Model 7, 3rd version: Look for the Normandy shield on the upper and lower joints with the number 7 inside.
Model 10: Look for inline trill keys mounted on four sets of posts, and all-wooden construction.
Model 10P: Look for plateau keys, inline trill keys mounted on four sets of posts, and all-wooden construction.
Model 14, 1st version: Look for a block-letter "RESO-TONE" under the upper joint Normandy shield, and inline trill keys mounted on three sets of posts.
Model 14, 2nd version: Look for an italic "Reso-Tone" under the upper joint Normandy shield, and inline trill keys mounted on four sets of posts.
Model 14P: Look for plateau keywork, Buffet-style trill keys mounted on three sets of posts, and all-composite construction.
Model 140P: Look for plateau keywork, inline trill keys mounted on four sets of posts, and all-composite construction.
