Intonation results taken when playing loud and not lipping. See how to interpret these results on the Model Comparison Page.

For this test, I pulled 0 at the barrel and 0 at the center tenon.

Intonation summary: Wow! This is unexpected for me! Fantastic intonation. This must be poly-cylindrical. I was not going to say the 1mm difference in the bore was enough to be poly-bore. This plays as well as many professional Buffets and much better than the one stamped “Evette sponsored by Buffet.”

Key work quality: Typical Buffet. I like Noblet key work better, but this is fine.

This clarinet is most appropriate for: Anyone, beginner to professional.

Condition issues noted: None.
