Intonation summary: The barrel is too long for this horn! I even did this test with a cane reed in order to bring up the pitch a little from my normal Legere test reed. I didn’t have a shorter barrel that would fit the tenon. With a shorter barrel one could expect some improvement. I play loudly, so the throat tones are normally flat on my tests. But this is TOO flat. With a shorter barrel, the upper register will go fairly sharp.

Using the original mouthpiece (or the one that came with it that looks original), the results are better. For the second test, I used my Legere reed on the mouthpiece. The throat tones were no longer flat, but then everything else went higher too.

Key work quality: It looks like they copied a Vito clarinet in some styling and construction. However the keys are pretty thin, especially the last trill key on the LH joint. The crows foot key will also come out of adjustment.

Plastic: The material is very thin in the bell, and generally very light.

This clarinet is most appropriate for: What it was designed for, a beginning player. But the intonation problems will show up fairly soon.
