The instrument that I am reviewing was kindly sent to my by Hillary H. See pictures below.
Serial # perhaps covered up by a ring installed to repair a crack. Probably made by Couesnon, with batch number L1.
Barrel: 61.8mm
Bore LH joint top: probably 15.0mm past the end cap which has a hole opening of 14.8mm.
Bore LH joint at bottom: 15.0mm
Intonation results taken when playing loud and not lipping. See how to interpret these results on the Model Comparison Page.
For this test, I used a 66.9mm Noblet barrel, and still pulled 1.4mm at the barrel and 1.4mm in the center for this horn. I am not normally sharp, but it isn't hard to be sharp with this horn.

27Sept2012, #G506. for Therese K. Wow! This clarinet rivals professional clarinets. Bore 15.0/14.9mm.
9Feb2014, #375, for Sean Potter. 15.0/14.75mm. Plays wonderfully. Previously banded at the top of the LH joint.
26Feb2014, #6226, again for Sean Potter. Fixed serious chip in lowest tenon.
26Jun2014, #310, or perhaps 1310, again for Sean. The wood is in distressed shape, from hard wear or improper storage. But it is sweet in how it plays. The wonderful quality nickel keys don't show wear.
6Sept2014, #unkown number, for Jennifer B in CA. The LH joint was pinned and banded in two positions a long time ago, and the upper serial number, is no longer visible. This has a 14.8mm bore on the top and bottom of the LH joint and it plays very nicely in tune.
