Serial #15598 Stamped as Made in Germany on the bottom of the right hand joint. This was made by the same maker as the La Chapelle.Barrel: 62.2mmBore LH joint top: 15.3mm huge!Bore LH joint at bottom: 15.0mm Could this be poly-cylindrical? For this test, I pulled 1.3mm at the barrel and 1.3mm in the center for this horn.
Intonation summary: This is quite good intonation! And it is nice that it has a wide bore.
Key work quality: In fit and finish, this instrument shows that it was made as a student instrument. The key work is OK, and is typical of 1940’s post war instruments.

Because of the single post for the left pinkie keys, this is an older model, and probably a Couesnon. [12Nov2012 That is possible even if the other one was made in Germany.]
It has the articulated C#/G# key, as most unibody clarinets.
