This clarinet is unusual for metal clarinets, as the body and posts of the clarinet seem to be done in gold colored lacquer. It is possible that the bell is real gold plated, as Conn made saxophones that were similarly partially gold plated. In any case, the appearance would be striking if polished, since the keys are of nickel silver.
Note the odd flat shape of the extensions leading to the rings.
