Playground Refurbishments

We are delighted to announce that our Key Stage 2 playground will be refurbished and a state of the art Multi Use Games Area will be constructed in June by the Ridpool Rd Gates. We’ll keep our parents up to date with construction work via twitter and class dojo.

Football Results

After a dramatic evening on the top field Mr Q and the boys team came away with a well earned point. Drawing 2-2 against Alston Primary and loosing 4-1 to a fantastic team from Corpus Christi.

Parking Reminder

This week we have reported 4 illegally parked vehicles to the police. Thank you to the majority of our parents who are continuing to park away from the zig zag markings and entrance gates and are keeping our children safe.

Handball Tournament

We were delighted with our Yr5 and Yr6 Handball team’s performance at Ninestiles yesterday they finished 2nd overall in their tournament and played brilliantly throughout their games.

Congratulations Mr Clarke

We’re delighted to announce that Mr Clarke will be taking over as Head Teacher from September. As you will know Mr Clarke has worked at Lea Forest for the last 3 years and has been central to the incredibly positive journey the school has been on so far. Supported by our community, staff and leadership team we feel that Mr Clarke is ideally placed to continue our journey to outstanding and make Lea Forest the best school in the area.

Singing Competition

To support our academy values we are having a singing competition for Years 3-6.

Children can enter by recording part of A Million Dreams from the Greatest Showman (less than 20 seconds please) and send it to Mr Haw or Mr Croxon on a Class Dojo message.

Children could also enter by asking their parents to add it to the grown-up’s Twitter accounts, adding @lea_forest_aet (remember children under 13 should not have social media accounts).

Parents and staff are welcome to enter too!! We’ll be sharing the best clips via the website.

Closing date: 5pm on Tuesday 1st May

Focus Fortnight

Our fantastic focus fortnight is back and you’ve got to be in school to be in with a chance of winning one of our Asda vouchers. Every child with 100% attendance over the next 2 weeks will be entered into a prize draw to win one of our Asda Gift Vouchers.

Reading Workshop

School Nurse
