Y6 Trip to Whittington Barracks

posted 25 Oct 2013, 19:09 by J Croxon

Year 6 pupils will be visiting Whittington Barracks in Staffordshire on Wednesday 6 November 2013. Pupils will be participating in a fascinating “World War Two Experience” which will enhance and extend their learning in History and Literacy.

I am delighted that this visit will be completely funded by the Royal Mail and there will therefore be no charge to yourself.

The coach will be leaving the academy after registration and returning by 3.00pm.

The staff accompanying children on this day will be Mr Bowden, Mrs Newbold, Miss Barnes and Mr Smith.

Your child will need to wear school uniform as usual and have a suitable coat in case of wet or cold conditions.

They will need a packed lunch and a drink (in a non breakable container). Those children in receipt of free school meals will have this provided as usual. There is no requirement for spending money.
