1- You need your AGENDA, your Chromebook, and your IRB--If you do not have these things GO AND GET THEM. Do not wait until class starts to ask to go back to your locker or to get up to get your IRB. If you do that- your whole class will sit in silent lunch.
2- Sit where you like today- fill the front tables so Mrs. Mims can talk to you all when class starts.

1- Make sure you have a 2nd 9 weeks book borrowed and ready to be read once you finish your 1st book.
2- Please use the time to READ-- unless you are done with your 2 books- then you can use the time to work on projects-- but you must have your books read-- if you still need to read- READ.
3- Come up to do book conferences when you are ready. If you do not come and see me, you will not get your score. You need to have your book with you for me to give you a score.
4- Log in new books if you need to-- link is on the Independent Reading page.
HOMEWORK:
1- FINISH reading your 2nd 9 Weeks IRB by 12/1.
2- IXL ASSIGNMENT #3 DUE 11/7.

1- Open the webpage: Change the World Projects.
2- Read through the page and make sure you understand what you will need to do for the project.
CLASS ACTIVITY:
1- Once you get your Brainstorm sheets from the Agent of Change stations--you and your team need to go through and highlight 3 items that are the most important, or could be possible issues you and your team.
2- You all want to decide on a topic that you can work together on and complete the project with. Your driving question is: How can we work to be agents of change in order to change the world?
3- Your topic will have to be something you can
A- RESEARCH,
B- Write opinion pieces on based on your research, and
C- Bring you to a solution that can CHANGE something in our world, school, state, and community.
4- Once you have your topic and you have decided on what you are going to do--get an index card from Mrs. Thomason and have one person fill it out with the following information on the LINED side of the card.
5- When you get your card done, turn them into Mrs. Thomason.
6- When you are done, you can finish your Landlady Text/Video Comparison or Read for tomorrow's Final Book #1 Check.
LIBRARY TOMORROW! Bring your IRBs to the Library. You need to have read your 1st book for the 2nd 9 Weeks for tomorrow.
