1- Complete your Library Business- renew books, borrow books, pay fines.
CLASS ACTIVITY:
1- Finish your IRB Thinking and Writing Assignment
2- You can also be Reading Act II, Scene 2 of The Diary of Anne Frank. You need your earbuds if you are going to listen to the audiobook.
3- If you find a new book- LOG it into the Independent Reading List. LINK TO LOG IN YOUR INDEPENDENT READING BOOK
4- If you are caught up with everything, you can read your new IRB.

1- You need your Chromebook and JOURNALS.
If you do not have these items GET THEM NOW.
2- Sit in the formation.
3- PUT EVERYTHING EXCEPT YOUR CHROMEBOOK IN THE BASKET UNDER YOUR DESK. NOT THE FLOOR.
BELL RINGER:
1- Find the page you started last week titled BOOK TALKS.
2- You will add to your notes during today's talks.
3- WRITE: The Title of the Book and author.
4- One or two sentences or notes about what you liked about the book or why you may want to read it later.
CLASS ACTIVITY:
1- Book Talks today. Please make sure you have TURNED IN your slide show to the Google Classroom Link.

BELL RINGER:
Take the Anne Frank ACT I QUIZ. You can find it HERE.
CLASS ACTIVITY:
1- When you are done, READ ACT II, Scene ONE. You can either read it yourself or listen to the Audiobook if you have earbuds. It is posted on the Anne Frank/Drama Page.
2- In your Journals start on a clean page and write the DATE 9/27/17 ACT II- Scene 1. 3- While you read the play, you need to take notes. These notes will be the only thing you will have to study for the quizzes and the final test.
Note CHARACTERS- who they are, what they do, and how they act with the others.
Note PLOT POINTS- what major events happen in the play, dramatic moments, and sad or happy moments.
At the end of each days reading or each scene-- you'll write a summary of what we read.
4- If you get done reading Scene 1- then you can work on your Book Talk presentation for tomorrow or work on your Thinking and Writing Assignment for Friday.

1- In your Journals, under your notes and summaries from Monday write the NEW DATE 9/26/17 Scenes 4 & 5.
2- During the reading of the play, you need to take notes on the play. These notes will be the only thing you will have to study for the quizzes and the final test.
CLASS ACTIVITY:
1- Today we'll be reading "The Diary of Anne Frank"-- we need to finish ACT I.
8th period: FINISH reading on your own. Read from Page 904. If you have earbuds you can listen to the Audio book on the Anne Frank/Drama Page.
2- For the Quiz TOMORROW-
QUIZ: 10 Multiple Choice, 10 Matching, and 1 Short Answer question.
8th period: After you finish reading- you can study for the quiz, and/or work on your IRB Book Talk or Thinking and Writing Assignment. WORK and READ. If you are done with everything due this week-- READ YOUR IRB for the 2nd 9 Weeks.
