TODAY IS Friday, October 6
READ AND DO THIS NOW:
1- You need your JOURNALS, Chromebooks, and your IRB.
2- Sit in the formation.
3- Put all your things except for your Journals and a pen or pencil, under your desk- IN THE BASKET- not the floor.
BELL RINGER:
1- If you did not turn in your Stations that were due yesterday this is your last chance.
2- If you need to take the Final Test or the Act I Quiz you need to let me know so I can set you up to take the test/quiz.
3- Check if your name is on the board for Working Lunch, ETA Meetings, and Silent Lunch.
CLASS ACTIVITY:
1- Find the page in your journal that you previously took notes on the Book Talks. Continue to add to your list.
2- Include the TITLE of the book and a few notes or details why you like the book or think you would read it. If you do not think you will read it-- then just take notes on what the book is about for future reference.
3- We'll finish all the book talks. IF I have too many to get through you will only have 3 minutes to present.
4- If we finish book talks, then you can read, do extra credit, or finish any .01 Assignments.
Last Day for ALL late or missing work is Monday, Oct. 9. LAST DAY FOR ALL 1st 9 WEEKS WORK IS MONDAY, OCT. 9. Your grade stands after this day.

BELL RINGER:
1- Turn in your Stations from yesterday if you have not already done so.
2- Read the Anne Frank Final Test instructions in the Google Classroom link.
CLASS ACTIVITY:
1- The test is Multiple Choice and Matching- 2 points each, Short Answer Essays- 10 points each- TOTAL: 70 points/60% grade.
2- After we cover instructions, you can take the test. Have no other tabs open during the test.
3- Take your time and use your time wisely.
4- Write paragraphs for the Short Answer Essays.
Once you are done, you can finish Test Review Stations or read your IRB.

TODAY IS Wednesday, October 4
READ AND DO THIS NOW:
1- You need your Chromebooks.
2- Sit at one of the FOUR Stations.
3- Put all your things under your desk- IN THE BASKET- not the floor.
4- You will only need to move your Chromebooks between the stations.
BELL RINGER:
1- READ THE DIRECTIONS POSTED for the Station work for Test Review for “The Diary of Anne Frank” in Google Classroom.
2- Then open the document to get started. Make sure you read the directions for each station before you get started.
CLASS ACTIVITY:
1- We'll complete our station work today. IF you do not finish, complete it for ETA-- this is your study guide for the test tomorrow.
2- You may use your journals if you need them.
3- You can type directly into this document to complete the activity.
4- If you do not understand what to do-- READ THE DIRECTIONS AGAIN. Do not ask me a question unless you have READ the directions, ASKED a teammate, or CHECKED with another classmate. Then ask me only if those THREE options could not help you.5- Use the textbooks at each station to complete the activities.
6- YOU MAY DISCUSS ALL OF THIS WITH YOUR GROUP! This is a talking and doing activity. Help each other answer the questions/complete the activities. They are not easy and will be good to discuss with your group to understand what happened in the play.
7- You must all write your own answers and help each other find each answer.
We will be doing Stations One through Four. Do not do Station FIVE.

READ AND DO THIS NOW:
1- You need your JOURNALS, a TEXTBOOK, and your Chromebooks.
2- If there is no textbook on your desk, get one from the cart.
3- Put all your things under your desk- IN THE BASKET- not the floor.
4- Have ONLY your Textbooks and Journals on your Desk.
BELL RINGER:
1- Set up your Journal to take more notes on "The Diary of Anne Frank."
2- Act II, Scenes 1-5 for discussion today.
CLASS ACTIVITY:
1- We'll be Reading Act II, Scene 3 & 4 of The Diary of Anne Frank.
2- We'll discuss the Final Test.
This test will be multiple choice, matching, and short answer questions.
WHAT TO STUDY
1- Be able to identify the dramatic moments from each scene-- know the sequence of events of the play.
2- Be able to identify all of the characters and their actions in the play.
3- Understand the cause of the characters overall tension in the hiding place and the effect on the characters.
4- Be able to use the play to justify if our similarities or differences matter the most.
5- Be able to explain each character's motivation for their actions.
6- Be able to identify key moments in WWII and Holocaust history that affect the characters in the play.

2- If there is no textbook on your desk, get one from the cart.
3- Put all your things under your desk- IN THE BASKET- not the floor.
4- Have ONLY your Chromebook only on your desk.
BELL RINGER:
1- We'll be taking the 8th Grade Common Assessment Informational Text.
2- You just need to read the article and answer the questions.
3- It is posted on Google Classroom.
CLASS ACTIVITY:
1- When you are done with the assessment, you can Reading Act II, Scene 2 of The Diary of Anne Frank. You need your earbuds if you are going to listen to the audiobook.
2- Once we're all done with the assessment, you need to read to SCENE 3 of the play.
3- We'll continue reading tomorrow and finish discussing the act.
