You may use Easy Bib to generate your Works Cited- but remember- it MUST FOLLOW THIS FORM BELOW.
WORKS CITED and INTERNAL CITATIONS
You must create a Works Cited page at the end of your Outline and cite your sources within the text of your outline as well.
Works Cited format should follow these samples:
FOR A BOOK:
Author last name, First name. Title of Book. City of Publication: Publisher, Year of
Publication. Medium of Publication.
FOR A WEBSITE:
Last Name, First Name. "Page Title." Website title. Sponsoring Institution/Publisher,
Publication Date. Medium. Date Accessed.
After you have written the Works Cited, tell me within the outline where each source is used. After the sentence(s) taken from your book or article do the following:
In Poland, the concentration camps were brutal, (Klein 45).
In the parenthesis is the author of the book you found the information and the number is the page number where you found the information. This should be done for ALL information taken from your text or web research. If your web article has no author, just use the Page Title from the website.
Allusion Project- Final Exam Assignment
An allusion is a brief or indirect reference to a person, event, or place—real or fictitious. It could also be a reference or to a work of art or to a famous historical or literary figure or event. Allusions may be drawn from history, geography, literature, or religion. An allusion is usually a reference to some piece of knowledge not actually mentioned or described within the text. Allusions usually come from a body of information that the author presumes the reader will know. For example, an author who writes, “She was another Helen,” is alluding to the great beauty of Helen of Troy.
Below you will find 25 different allusions used by Shakespeare in his play A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
