Extra Credit

Extra Credit or Bonus Points are offered at different times during the year. Usually, bonus points are offered if students complete work that is extra or beyond what is required for class.

Extra Credit will only count if all assignments have already been turned in. If students have missing work, extra credit will not count. They can complete the assignment missing and then the extra credit will count toward their overall average. It will never be added to specific projects or assignments.

Extra Credit Options:

1- BOOK CONFERENCE ON AN ADDITIONAL IRB BOOK

This has to be a book you will not use for Book Talks or IRB Assessments. You will just have to have a conference with me where you tell me about the book, what you liked about it, why you choose it, how you recommend it to others. This can be done on Reading Days or during any ETA. 20 points/30% category

2- INDEPENDENT READING BOOK GUIDE ON AN ADDITIONAL IRB BOOK

This has to be a book you will not use for Book Talks or IRB Assessments. 30 points/30% category. You will need to get a copy from me to complete.

2- IXL EXTRA CREDIT

This is worth 30 points/10% grade.

You must complete ALL or you will not receive credit.

You must get 70% for each section.

You must post your scores for each section in google classroom to receive credit. There is a link for this assignment.
