2- Sit in the rectangle tables- 4 to a table. Fill the tables with 4 before you move to another table.
3- Please put all of your books on the extra tables and just have your Chromebook up on the table.

1-Go to Google Classroom and make sure you have turned in your Animoto correctly. Copy the Animoto link and POST it as a Class Comment on the Animoto assignment.
2- Take a piece of paper from the center of the table and write your name at the top, your period, and the title: Gallery Walk 10/5.
3- Wait for more instructions.
CLASS ACTIVITY:
1- We'll trade chairs at each table and look at each Animoto on our tables. Then we'll switch seats on other tables to finish all the videos on each table.
2- When you look at a video, you need to write the title of the book and the author on your note paper. List them and the write 2-3 sentences about what the book is about.
3- Turn the sheet in when you are done looking at each video.
4- If you do not have earbuds you'll have to read them all.
5- We'll stop in time to borrow books, renew, or clear fines. You need to have a new book for the 3rd 9 weeks by Thursday 10/11.

1- Read TO YOURSELF "Things We Carry on the Sea"- use ONE colored pencil from the bucket to mark using the Text Symbols for Annotating as you read.
2- On the sheet write a short paragraph reflecting on what you just read. What do you think the poem means? How did it make you feel?
3- Then I'll answer questions and then I'll have you read the poem out loud in your group. One person reads or everyone reads 3 lines and then goes around the table until the poem is read. Use a SECOND colored pencil from the bucket to mark using the Text Symbols for Annotating as it is read out loud.
4- Then write a short paragraph on the paper about anything new or different that you noticed.
5- After you talk about what you saw that was new or different, we'll repeat the process with The New Colossus Poem.
6- Read TO YOURSELF "The New Colossus"- use ONE colored pencil from the bucket to mark using the Text Symbols for Annotating as you read.
7- On the sheet write a short paragraph reflecting on what you just read. What do you think the poem means? How did it make you feel?
8- Then I'll answer questions and then I'll have you read the poem out loud in your group. One person reads or everyone reads 2 lines and then goes around the table until the poem is read.
