Afterlife

When a countryhuman dies, they are not sent to any human afterlife. They instead go to the countryhumans afterlife. The country's afterlife looks different for each personification, as it is a recreation of all of their land; however, it is a recreation of their land if humans had never inhabited it. The countryhumans wander throughout this recreation of their land, never being able to leave the borders of what was once their nation. Each countryhumans is by themself, and there are no other countryhumans in this recreation of their land. However, if two countries wanted to meet in the afterlife, they could. For example, if the Dakota Territory and the Province of Carolina wanted to meet in the afterlife, the borders of their land would start to blur and create a small border zone where both could go. It will create this regardless of how close their land was in real life, and the border zone will always be a mix of those two lands. The most important thing about this ability to visit each other is that it only works if both countries want to see each other. If the Dakota Territory wanted to see the Province of Carolina, but the Province of Carolina did not want to see the Dakota Territory, then they would be unable to visit each other. 

Lastly, we get to the issue of reincarnations/replacements. If a countryhuman is killed and gets a replacement, that country does not go to the afterlife, as their soul has been reused to create the replacement. When the replacement dies, the soul is sort of split in two, and both the original country and the replacement will coexist in the same area of the afterlife as different people. 

When a countryhuman dies temporary, they are brought to the afterlife, but not to an afterlife of their own, as they are going to be returned to their body. Instead, they are brought to the afterlife of a countryhuman they were close to, or if they are not close to any deceased countryhuman, they will be brought to the afterlife of their predecessor. They will be there for however long it takes for them to heal and be brought back, and will often appear with the wounds that killed them, as they are not dead and therefore their soul is healing. When they wake, they often do not remember due to the way their brain protects them from death by erasing their minds of the fifteen to twenty minutes of their life prior to their temporary death.
