Ukraine

Ukraine, also known by his human name of Oleksandr “Oles” Ulyanovych Melnyk (Олександр “Олесь” Улянович Мельник), is a very stubborn and caring individual who puts his people and his family above all else.

Ukraine is a very kind and caring person, prioritizing his family over himself. Ukraine puts them first because he feels in control of his life and the things happening around them when he can help protect them and keep them safe. Especially in the case of his children, Ukraine believes that it is his duty to protect them, even if it puts him in harm's way. 

Ukraine loves very deeply and with all he has, and betrayal cuts him deeply. Even when people he loves hurt him, Ukraine still struggles with whether or not he should forgive them. Ultimately, whether or not he will forgive someone from his family who has hurt him lies in whether or not it was just him they hurt or if they hurt his children as well. When they hurt his children, any chance of forgiveness is very slim.

Ukraine is also very stubborn, standing his ground as best he can and making sure that who he is isn’t overshadowed by what other people think of him, or what they want to think of him. Ukraine does not want to be trodden on or ignored, and is resistant to change that forces him to change himself for others. He has had to change enough in the past, and he doesn’t want to keep changing in order to be respected. Ukraine can be very proud of his people, his children, and his history, and wants to make sure all of that is seen by other people, as well.
