Republic of the Philippines
Republika ng Pilipinas
I will not do anything past 2020 for the history sections unless they were born after 2020, as many events are too recent. Website still incomplete.
Republika ng Pilipinas
Philippines, also known by his human name of Kidlat Alon Rosales Santos, is a snarky and loyal individual. He doesn't take shit from anyone, and when faced with someone he doesn't like, he can be bitchy and snarky, always willing to make it clear if he does not like you. He hates being looked down on and is quick to defend his identity and sense of self.
With his friends, he can be loyal to a fault, always wanting to put their wants before his own. He grows attached to people quickly once they have earned his trust, and if you have earned his respect and loyalty, only a betrayal of his trust will make you lose that. He cares deeply for friends and family and holds them close in his heart.
However, since he had been betrayed and abused by people he's trusted before, he is very slow to trust, always looking for the bad in people. If you betray his trust, he will likely never forgive you, letting that betrayal hang in the air and taint future interactions, no matter how positive, with bitterness and mistrust.
Philippines is a badass who will fight tooth and nail for his beliefs and his family and will not let anyone take him now. He will fight past the bitter end to protect his friends, his people, his family, and everyone he holds dear because he does not want to be the person who fails them and gets them hurt.
Philippines often struggles with his personal sense of identity due to the many times martial law and military governments have been used to warp his mind into being someone else's vision of himself. He struggles a lot with the trauma from those experiences and can become hostile and paranoid when he feels someone is trying to threaten his sense of identity. He oftentimes relies too heavily on the assistance of others to rebuild his sense of personal identity, and it is an issue he still struggles with in the modern day.
