State of Rhode Island

Rhode Island, also known by his human name of Zechariah Williams Washington, is a hot-headed and independent individual. He is very determined and will work at something until he is satisfied it is done. Rhode Island is also insistent that he can do things without help. Rhode Island does not like asking for help and instead believes that he is capable of doing everything by himself.

Rhode Island is also hot-headed and quick to anger, especially when he is frustrated, stressed, or believes that he is being mocked. While he is okay with sibling teasing, when he believes it has gone too far, he lashes out at whoever is teasing him. He does not have a large ego, but he dislikes it when he feels that who he is as a person is being mocked.

Rhode Island has a very strong sense of self and a very strict moral code. He is also more open-minded than many of his siblings, in the sense that Rhode Island really doesn't care about religion, sexuality, gender, and, as of the past 100-odd years, race and disability. Rhode Island believes there are more important things to worry about than "cosmetic and minor differences" and is very accepting of differences.

Physical Description

Rhode Island is three foot eleven in country form and five foot in human form. He has hazel eyes that are green-blue in color and has straight brown hair that is cut short. He is freckled, but not that much.

In country form, his face is his flag, with the white from the flag carrying over his body. His elbows and knees have the circle of stars from his flag on them. His hands hold the anchor from his seal. His hands and feet are blue from his seal.

In human form, he is mixed but is white-passing, 71.3 White-28.7 POC, based on the 2020 census (this is also a very loose definition, but I am trying to give you a good baseline for "mixed"). The largest ethnic groups are Irish, Italian, English, French, and Latino.

Rhode Island is pretty chubby.

Rhode Island has looked the same throughout his life.

From June 1636 to November 1, 1897, Rhode Island's face as been his seal. The seal has gone through some changes, as seen in the examples provided (colonial seal, 1853 seal, modern seal pre-name change), but it has always held the anchor.
